Must be 18+ years of age
Eligible to work in the United States
High School Diploma, or approved equivalent
Comprehensive background check approval
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
One year of professional experience in the field of diversabilities preferred
Ability to provide skills training for individuals to increase independence
Complete work related training including CPR/First Aid, Information Security, Mandatory Abuse Reporting, and other core competencies
Ability to safely and adequately perform tasks outlined in Individual Support Plans (ISP’s).
Ability to respond to emergency situations

ADVISING PROFESSIONAL
Advising Professionals, or Community Living DSP’s, guide journeys of independent living, providing mentorship for individuals experiencing diversabilities in home and community settings. Individuals we serve have goals specific to their needs and desires; DSP’s are tasked with supporting individuals in accomplishing these goals.
Research consistently states the positive impact of mentor services: Increased self-confidence, self-sufficiency, self-advocacy, as well as academic performance, including school attendance, and more.
